The River House
on the Scenic St Croix River in Minnesota.
The River House is nestled in a forest of maples, oaks and white pines
on a gently sloping hill on the St Croix River.
Follow the path to the front door.
The Path to the River
The river is about 150 feet down a winding path through a stand of 75 year old white pines.
Across the river is Wisconsin and Standing Cedars Land Conservancy, home to abundant wild life including great blue herons, warblers, trumpeter swans, eagles, beavers, fox, and otters.
Fishing is great! You can fish from the rocky shoreline or launch your kayak, canoe or small fishing boat from the public access near by. A day trip paddling from Osceola Interstate Park to the River House is a great way to explore the sandbars and backwaters called sloughs.

Come into the living room. This charming family house was built by my Grandfather in the 1930′s.
The living room & dining room were updated in 2011.
Let’s go into the dining room. There is a beautiful view of the River.
The kitchen is off the dining room; complete with dishes, cooking & eating utensils.
The River House sleeps 4 people. The north bedroom has two twin beds and the south bedroom has a queen.

The River House is a wonderful place to rest and relax with friends and family and explore the St Croix Valley and
the Wild and Scenic St Croix River.
If you wish, you can start your day off with a Reiki session or some Tai Chi at the ARTSelf Studio.
